As the founder of Wilderman Medical Clinic, Chronic Pain Clinic, and the Canadian Centre for Clinical Trials, Dr. Wilderman has been operating clinics since 2004 - offering a wide range of services to patients with a variety of chronic and acute ailments. Dr. Wilderman strongly believes in the benefits of multidisciplinary medicine and the non-pharmaceutical methodology of pain management. His main interests are interventional pain management and neuropathic pain. A great deal of his time is spent on taking on new challenges; and familiarizing himself with the newest technologies and medical developments. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Wilderman lends his experience to clinical trials and medical research. He is an Editor-in-Chief of "Medical News Bulletin"- an online magazine highlighting the latest developments in clinical trials, basic medical research, medicine technology, and lifestyle. Dr. Wilderman is a Lecturer at the Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto; and holds privileges at North York General Hospital. As a chronic pain consultant, Dr. Wilderman apportions his time to perform insurance and independent medical examinations; as well as to write Medico-Legal reports. He is certified in impairment rating (American Medical Association Guides IVth Edition) and is one of the developers of a proprietary impairment rating calculator- an online tool designed to rate one's probability of catastrophic impairment. Dr. Igor WIlderman has trained over a dozen physicians in chronic pain management, is one of the founding members of the Canadian Academy of Pain Management, and has authored approximately forty publications. He is an active member of Canadian Pain Society and International Association for the Study of Pain.

Dr. Feng Tao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Tao received his RO1 award and Independent Scientist Award from NIH in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed professional journals and he is serving as an editorial board member for some professional journals. Dr. Tao also served as an invited reviewer for Johns Hopkins ACCM Seed Grant, NSF-sponsored Pilot Funding at Louisiana State University, Arizona Biomedical Research Commission, Britain Israel Research and Academic Exchange Partnership Regenerative Medicine Initiative, Wings for Life−Spinal Cord Research Foundation in Austria, Department of Veterans Affairs Rehabilitation Research and Development Service Spinal Cord Injury and Neuropathic Pain Panel, and NIH NRCS Study Section.

Dr. Jason Mazzarella graduated at the top of his class at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY in 2006, finishing his graduation requirements 9 months early. While at NYCC, Dr. Mazzarella was selected to participate in a highly coveted United States Olympic Training Facility Elite Rehabilitation Rotation. This rotation involved staying at the United States Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY, and learning advanced sports rehabilitation protocols and treatment options used to treat present and future Olympians. After completing this rotation, Dr. Mazzarella was then the first in his class, and 5th inter ever to be selected into a prestigious Chiropractic and Orthopeadic Veteran's Hospital Internship, allowing for over 240 hours of direct chronic pain patient care. Dr. Mazzarella also holds two Bachelor of Science Degree from the Pennsylvania State University (Kinesiology Human Movement and Health Policy and Administration). Upon graduation, Dr. Mazzarella continued his training, education and experience obtaining over 1000 hours of advanced post graduate training Whiplash Traumatology, Accident Reconstruction, Chronic Pain, Special Imaging, Traumatic Stress, Acupuncture, and Advanced Rehabilitation Techniques. He also spent a year as a Fellow in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of British Columbia. He is trained as a neuroanethesiologist and had Clinical Fellowship training in Neuroanesthesia at the University of Toronto,Ontario,Canada.He practiced at the University Health Network, The Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, Ontario, Canada from 1995 to 2007. Kalpna Gupta, PhD is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation; and co-Leader of the Tumor Microenvironment Program in the Masonic Cancer Research Centre; and Molecular and Cellular Engineering Program at the Institute for Engineering in Medicine, at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. She obtained her PhD from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. She was an Associate Professor of biochemistry at AIIMS until she moved to the United States. Dr Kalpna Gupta is a leading investigator in research on pain and vascular biology in sickle cell disease (SCD). Her seminal observations on morphine signaling in endothelium laid down the foundation to understand the role of opioids in cancer progression. Simultaneously, she initiated investigation on understanding the neurobiology of pain in SCD. Her basic findings are under clinical studies/trials currently. She has a strong track record of receiving highly competitive NIH funding for pain and opioid biology research. She is a receipient of the Excellence in Hemoglobinopathies Research Award from NHLBI, NIH, to study, “Cannabinoid-based therapy and approaches to quantify pain in sickle cell disease.” Her research interests are global. She received the “Science without Borders” award from the Government of Brazil to advance their endeavors in sickle cell disease research. Dr Gupta is a standing member of the, “Hypertension and Microcirculation” study section and serves as an ad-hoc member for several study sections at NIH. She is a member of the Advisory Council for Sickle Cell Disease at NIH. She is a reviewer for several high impact peer reviewed journals including, Nature Publising group, Lancet, Blood, Cancer Res, J Biol Chem, etc. She has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications, several reviews and book chapters. Dr Gupta is highly involved in the graduate teaching programs for Fellows in Medicine and graduate students in the Cancer Centre. She has mentored several Fellows and Post-docs. She is extremely active in promoting diversity in medicine. She serves as a member of the Admissions Executive Committee for MD admissions, University of Minnesota.

Andrea Trescot, MD is chair of the education committee of WIP, past president of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), past president and current director at large of the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (FSIPP), current president of the Alaska Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (AKSIPP), a former board member of ASIPP, a member of the Board of Directors of the World Institute of Pain (WIP), a former professor at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and previous director of the pain fellowship programs at the University of Washington and the University of Florida. She graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, with internship and residency in anesthesia at Bethesda Naval Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at National Children's Hospital in Washington. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, and a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice. Dr. Trescot is board certified in anesthesiology, pain management, interventional pain management and critical care. She was a pain clinic director in private practice for 15 years before she moved to academics. She has returned to private practice, where she splits her time between Alaska and Florida. Dr. Trescot has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters, and she is the editor and senior author of a new pain textbook (Peripheral Nerve Entrapments – Clinical Diagnosis and Management). She is also co-author of PainWise – A Patient’s Guide to Pain Management, as well as co-editor of the three-volume pain review textbook Pain Medicine & Interventional Pain Management – A Comprehensive Review.
